Timothy Warren Johnson

Born on December 31, 1955, he was the third son of the late Harry

Frederick and Lucille (Studley) Johnson.

Tim grew up in Centerville and graduated from Barnstable High School

in 1974. While in high school, he was on the Cross Country Team and

was an accomplished Tennis player. He was once the Cape Cod 18 and

under Singles Tennis Champion and a 1983 NELTA ranked doubles player.

Later in life, he would share this love and knowledge of tennis with

his nieces and nephews.

For many years, Tim worked for his famliy’s business, H.F. Johnson

Tree Farm where he specialized in tree climbing and pruning. He was

also very knowledgeable about stocks and investments.

He faithfully attended the Presbyterian Church of Cape Cod and

cherished the time that he shared there with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Ronald

W. Johnson.

He leaves behind his brother Arnold O. Johnson and his wife, Pamela of

Osterville; six nieces and nephews, Eric Johnson of Miamisburg,Ohio,

Ann Meekins and her husband, Steve of Beavercreek, Ohio, Carl A.

Johnson and his wife, Maureen of West Barnstable, Barry D. Johnson and

his wife, Tara of Osterville, Emily L. Peterson and her husband, Seth

of West Barnstable, Benjamin R. Johnson and his wife, Megan of

Plymouth, MA; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2013

at the Presbyterian Church of Cape Cod, 2391 Iyanough Road in West

Barnstable. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Centerville.
