Malu was born on June 21st, 1954 to the late Jorge and Maria Wanda Macedo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. That’s also where she met the love of her life Juvenal Miranda França before they moved to a small town by the name of Goioerê located in the south of Brazil. Same town that Malu called home for 43 years.
Malu’s most notable accomplishment in life was motherhood, loving and caring for her family. She attended nursing school in Rio and became a registered nurse in her early twenties. She loved her profession but abdicated it so she could raise her four children. Malu was a go getter, avid life lover, and loved God above all. Malu also loved making new friends and caring for others.
Malu had recently arrived in the United States fulfilling her life long dream of being closer to three of her children and three of her grandchildren. She was also fulfilling a dream of living in the US and had infinite plans. Her happiness could not go unnoticed.
Malu is survived by her husband and four children Fabio França, Rodrigo França, Wanessa Pizaia, and Andressa França. She’s also survived by her brother, five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
