Lynn Marie (Patterson) Pasko born August 16, 1948 in Massapequa, New York went home to be with her Lord & Savior on April 21, 2022 following a hard fought battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Lynn faced this disease as she did everything in life, with faith, laughter and determination.
Lynn possessed a strength born of her deep faith in God which guided her to meet every challenge in her life with prayer and a positive attitude.
Lynn had an extraordinary zest for life, a loving and generous heart, and a passion for helping people. She loved to dress up and found any occasion was a good excuse for a celebration. And if there was music, you could be sure that Lynn was dancing.
Lynn was trained as a dental hygienist and enjoyed this career for many years before returning to school and earning her Master’s Degree in order to pursue her passion for helping others.
Lynn’s compassion for those in need was limitless. She touched countless lives, whether through her private practice, working with children in our local schools or volunteering her time for any cause she believed in. Lynn was always there, helping people to lighten their burdens and better themselves, always ready with a hug, a shoulder to cry on and sound advice.
Lynn’s heart was big and her love was pure. Her smile was genuine and her laugh was infectious. She was a woman who kept gratitude lists long before they became a thing. A woman who never knew a stranger, only a friend she hadn’t yet met.
Lynn was unwaveringly devoted to her family and loved her daughters fiercely with a selflessness that can only come from a mother’s heart.
Lynn will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Kristin and Melanie Pasko; son-in-law Paul Bacher, and her cherished grandsons, Landon and Camden Bacher of West Barnstable. She is also survived by her sister Catherine Nass and family of Connecticut, and brother Robert Patterson and family of Wisconsin.
The family would like to thank the staff at Harbor Point at Centerville and Broadreach Hospice for the extraordinary love and care that they provided.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St., Hyannis. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 5th at 11 a.m. in Marstons Mills Cemetery, Rt 149, Marstons Mills. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The One Company Fund, c/o Harbor Point at Centerville, 22 Richardson Road, Centerville, MA 02632.
