Karen was truly a blessing to anyone who was fortunate to know her. Her gift to us all was her loving nurturing nature that she showered on us with her warm smiles, hugs and overflowing love. Her family was her everything, her life, her joy. To be loved by her was immeasurable and unconditional.
Back in the day she was a force to be reckoned with on the country line dance floor. She is definitely stomping and twirling up in heaven. Watching the Red Sox and Patriots was her favorite pastime. Oh how she loved cheering on her "boys"! As a native Cape Codder she loved the beaches and sitting at the harbor watching the ferries and boats glide by. For so many years Karen and Bryant vacationed at her favorite place, Siesta Key in Florida.
Karen graduated from Barnstable High school. For 36 years Karen worked at Dowling and O'Neil Insurance as claims manager. Even further back she was a beloved employee at Oyster Harbors Club for many years. She was everyone's work mom and sister, the friendships from her work were lifelong and so much of her happiness. To say that Karen was adored would be an understatement.
There will be a Celebration of Life later in the fall.
