Bella Theresa Salvidoar Kenworthy of Hyannis, MA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 30, 2014 at the age of 81.
Bella was a warm, wonderful, generous woman who never had a lot, but would always give what she had. Her home was always full of her children and their friends, and although it was usually chaos, there was always room for more. She also loved all animals, and there were always strays being taken in. She had a warm, loving heart, which she passed on to all of her children. We will all miss her very much.
Bella was the daughter of Frank Salvidoar and Rebina Dignan and was raised in Revere, MA, the eldest of seven sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Doloris, Judy, Peggy, and Edna, her infant son William Edward Kenworthy, and her daughter-in-law Sylvia Brito. She is survived by her sisters Rose Burke(Richard) and Tiny Owens(Don).
She is survived by her daughters Doreen Paschal (Jim), Linda Pipkin, and Paula Kenworthy-Salt (Anthony), sons Ronald Kenworthy (Candida), Manuel Brito(Buffy), and Steven Brito(Paula).
She was also blessed with 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two very special children that she nannied: Sara and Andrew Bowles. Bella is also survived by many more nieces and nephews, extended "adopted" family members, and many, many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12 pm, Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis, MA. Visitation will be held from 10 am-12 pm prior to the service.
