Tracy Allison Marvin, age 46, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital. Tracy was born on June 13, 1975 in Huntsville, Alabama. She was the beloved daughter of Jeffry and Vicki Marvin.
Tracy had a laugh that would light up any room and a beautiful soulful voice that could make angels envious. Her love of music was expressed through the diverse talent she devotedly put into many bands and projects she pursued. Caring for nature and the love of plants took her on a 20+ year career at Bennett Nurseries where her colleagues, as well as her customers, got to share in her wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Tracy was a proud, self proclaimed nerd, a huge "Trekkie", and had a passion for Frank Zappa, Butters Stotch from South Park, and spiders. Numerous tattoos covered her body and she was proud to have her brother as the artist for some of them. While overseas in Bamberg Germany, she became co-valedictorian of Bamberg American High School class 1993. Then briefly attended Cameron College in Oklahoma after returning to the US, before settling back in Huntsville, Alabama.
Tracy was preceded in death by her loving mother, Vicki Marvin. She is survived by her father, Jeffry Marvin, of Austin, Texas and her brother Erik Marvin, his wife Kayla and their daughters Lily and Ella Marvin of Gurley, Alabama. Also, her two dog boys, Clyde-Frog Spaztongue Bitterhead Marvin and Roscoe P Coltrane. Tracy was a loving daughter, amazing big sister, proud aunt, and loyal friend to many. The world is a dimmer place without her light and she will be greatly missed.
