Tonja Marie Williams

Tonja Marie Williams, age 50, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Tonja was born in Washington, NC. Tonja graduated from Buckhorn High School in 1990. Tonja married Ricky “The Love of Her Life!” in 2003. They had two beautiful and amazing boys, Logan, and Ryder. Tonja loved her boys fiercely and with all that she was. Her boys were her world!

To say that she was a fighter is an understatement! Tonja fought her first battle with cancer when she was 12 years old. She had a strong spirit, personality and was a force to be reckoned with! She was a true Warrior!

Tonja loved to sit around the fire pit and listen to music with friends and family. She loved drinking cold beer, singing and dancing. She loved Alabama Football and Saturday nights with her people. She had the best laugh! She loved playing skipbo, camping, sunny pool days and telling people what to do. She loved her career as a medical biller and was the absolute best at it. She will be missed deeply!

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Ricky Williams, sons; Logan Williams and Ryder Williams, Parents; Nancy and Danny Monroe, Ronald Holliday- Davidson and Mitch Davidson, Sisters; Lisa Shepard (Paul Shepard), Kami Gates (Bill Gates), Misty Grubb (James Grubb), Nephews; Cooper Shepard, Carpenter Grubb, and AJ Grubb, Niece; Madison Gates, In-Laws; Rick and Linda Williams and Mark and Billie Givens. Aunts; Julie Hoffmeister and June Campos. She is also survived by an extremely large family of in-laws and cousins that all love her deeply. Tonja fought a good fight and is finally at peace and is no longer in any kind of pain.

If she could have played one last song for you, I believe in my heart it would be this.

Visitation for Tonja will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Following the visitation will be the celebration of life service at 1:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
