She was born on Easter Sunday, March 25, 1951 in Medford, WI. Throughout her life her birth was celebrated on both March 25th and every Easter Sunday, especially by her father. Her greatest pleasures in life came from her family and close friends. She thrived on change and challenges. An avid, sometimes over the top, Green Bay Packer Fan, she loved attending the games and was known to put all else aside during each and every Packer Game. Attending the Super Bowl was one of her most memorable life moments. Music and solving mysteries were things she enjoyed. The Beatles were one of her first musical loves, followed closely by many country artists. Thanks to her brother-in-law, she was able to meet many of these artists. Many life stories centered around this love. The lyrics often reflected her life and were sung loudly during many emotional times. Aruba was her destination of choice and was so blessed to be able to share her love of the island with those close to her.
Peg worked for many decades in the health care industry and was well known nationally for her expertise in physician compensation. During her career she was a national speaker, consultant, mediator, and active member of the Medical Group Management Association. Her greatest pleasure during her career was in mentoring others, sharing her knowledge and experiences with them, and watching others grow and succeed.
Peg is survived by her amazing daughter, Julie (John) McCullough and her remarkable three grandchildren, J.P., Lauren and Kathryn. Her sisters, Mindy (Dan) Krieg, Debbie (Jim) Neal, and Jackie (Mark) Peterson. Stacy (Rick) Fisher, Sara (Mike) Williams, Danny (Courtney) Krieg, Noah (Barbie) Surfass, Erin (A.J.) Vallez, Ryan (Emily) Peterson, and Steffen (Briana) Peterson are her surviving nieces and nephews. Elizabeth, Bailey, Sapphire, Max, Kaylee, and Danika will miss their Aunt Peggy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, great nephew, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of peg may be directed to the schools attended by her grandchildren (Buckhorn High School, Riverton Intermediate, Buckhorn Middle School).
At her request, no funeral will be held. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date with her family and close friends.
"You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one. I hope some day you'll join us and the world will be as one." "Always stay humble and kind".
