Jimmy Dolan Westmoreland

June 26, 1943 – January 30, 2018

Jimmy Dolan Westmoreland, 74 of Huntsville, AL passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Ozell Walker Westmoreland; and brother, Roland Westmoreland.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Frances Dutton Westmoreland; daughter, Karen Westmoreland Denman (Tim); 4 grandchildren, Kristen, Mark, Lauren, and Leanne Denman; and sister, Anita Westmoreland Cook.

Mr. Westmoreland loved his Savior, his family, Bama football, fishing, bluegrass music, and people. He worked as a manufacturing supervisor at SCI in the military electronics area for 40 years. He was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church where he served as a greeter and usher. His genuine smile, care for others, and kind spirit were a blessing to all who knew him.

You may visit with the family at Valhalla Funeral Home on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Funeral services, conducted by Pastor Michael Walker, will begin at 2:00pm with interment immediately following in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
