Jay Morgan Carter age 56 of Athens passed away on March 3, 2015. Jay is predeceased by his father A.G. Carter, he is survived by his wife; Debbie Carter, son; Jason Carter, grandchildren; Sydney Carter, Alexander Carter, mother; Willie Carter, brother; Dale Morgan, sister; Jana Carter, and several Aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jay was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Huntsville, Al. Funeral service for Jay will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 3:30 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 5 PM til 8 PM at the funeral home. Those wishing to may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
