Glenda Faye Brown English

Glenda Faye Brown English, age 75, of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield Massachusetts to Earl and Willa Dean Brown.

Glenda is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald English, daughter, Dreama Roden (Kenny), sisters, Patsy Peek, and Norma Hill (Bobby), and grandchildren, Terra Turner (Brannon), Corey Roden, and Angela Roden.

Preceding her in death is her father, Earl Brown, mother Willa Dean Brown, and daughter Kerri English.

Glenda enjoyed a career in retail at Florence Lumber Co., Hazel Green Ace Hardware, and Reed Hardware. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and spent her downtime watching Nascar Racing, girls’ softball and was an avid Alabama fan.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. John Waple, Dr. Michael Brown, and the Clearview Cancer Institute.

Glenda was cherished by all and her memory will carry on with those who loved her.

Visitation will be Friday March 22, 2024 from 6-8pm in the chapel at Valhalla Funeral Home 698 Winchester Rd NE Huntsville AL. Graveside service will be Saturday March 23, 2024 11am at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens 2601 Florence Blvd, Florence, AL 35630 with Bill Cantrell and Darrin English officiating
