Elizabeth Caldwell born in Newburyport, MA, but claimed Santa Maria, CA as home, and passed away in Huntsville AL, on February 12, 2024 peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 78. Feisty and stubborn until the end and passed on her on terms.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker, but also worked as a caterer, a cook in a preschool and volunteered in the Booster Club at Valley Christian for her sons football program. She enjoyed helping in her local church wherever she was needed. She also enjoyed spending time with all her family, playing games, family barbecues, making puzzles, traveling and gardening.
Preceded in death by her husband James, her father Albert, her mother Nancy and her brother Arthur.
Survived by her three brothers Richard Fortier, Paul Fortier, and Peter Fortier(Lauralei) and their children. Her children Judy Black (Chris), David Caldwell (Susan) and Nancy Berg; grand children, Jacob, Michael, Katelyn (Dave), Chloe, Abigail, and Ethan.
A celebration of life ceremony will be in Santa Maria, CA in the summertime.
