Carl was born to the late Arthur and Maudie Green on August 22, 1933 in Crab Orchard, Tennessee. He contributed time and service to his country. He retired from Redstone Arsenal after 40 years of service as Supervisor of the Demolition Area and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Carl was also a longtime member of Arab Masonic Lodge 663 in Arab, Alabama.
C.J., as family and friends knew him, adored his family. They were his greatest delight. He enjoyed spending time with them and working around the house. He was fond of sports and an avid fan of Tennessee Football. C.J. also was a devout Christian, loving the Lord with all his heart, mind and soul.
C.J. leaves this life to join his parents; siblings; and daughter, Connie Clark.
His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 67 years, Barbara F. Green; devoted son, Ricky S. Green; grandchildren, Tracy Ragsdale and Jessica Turney; great-grandchildren, Megan Green and Cody Hester; great-great grandchild, Landon Hester; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
C.J. will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he has touched.
