Amelia Key Elliott, age 83, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Monday, January, 22, 2024. Amelia was born on April 27, 1940 in Goodsprings, AL. Her father was Arles S. Key and her mother was Irene Woods Key. Amelia graduated at Walker County High School and spent two years at Walker Junior College. She married Tarleton P. Elliott on March, 16, 1961.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tarleton P. Elliott, son, Paul Warren Elliott and survived by 4 daughters - Denise (Ray) Wales of Fairhope, AL, Annette (William) Goss of Gurley, AL, Ruth (Paul) Sherban of Huntsville, AL, and Stephanie (Billy) Atchley of New Market, AL and 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
During her life, she was a Pastor, a lover of music, a piano player, an accordian player and loved to sing. She loved playing scrabble and doing crossword puzzles.
The viewing for Amelia will be on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Valhalla Funeral Home & Memory Gardens located at 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811 at 10 a.m. in the chapel with service at 11 a.m.
