Robert Harris Jr.

Robert “Bob” Harris Jr 58 of Huntington passed away on Sunday May 7, 2023 at his home. Bob had worked at ALH for over 20 years. He was an avid sports fan that loved basketball, baseball, and NASCAR. He especially loved the Cubs, IU, and Jeff Gordon. Robert loved being outside, tinkering and staying busy. He loved rock music, especially KORN and Metallica. Robert was born on April 6, 1965 in Huntington. The son of the late Robert Sr. and Marvel (Buzzard) Harris. He was united in marriage to the late Shannon Shaw on July 10, 2021 in Huntington. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2022 Survivors include two daughters: Kennedy (Joseph Shamblen) Harris of Natalia Texas, and Baily Jo Harris of Huntington; two son: Robert “Max” (Cadence Crouse) Harris of Huntington, Jeremy (Emily) Weber of Noblesville; four sisters: Joda (Mike) Gerringer of Huntington, Jona George of Huntington, Donna (Greg) Harrell of Huntington, and Mary Mygrant of Huntington; two step children: Dalton Anders and Bryonne Bradley; four grandchildren: Penelope Harris, Esmae Weber, Ethan Weber, and Mitchell Connely; and several step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday May 12, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Indiana.
