Kenneth L. Cross 70, of Huntington passed away on Thursday morning, October 12, 2023, at the Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne after his battle with cancer. Ken had worked in construction all of his life for several places over the years. He enjoyed working on cars in his spare time and loved taking care of his pets. Ken was an avid Indiana Hoosiers Basketball and Chicago Bears fan.
Ken was born on August 29, 1953, in Huntington a son of the late John K. and Tommie Lou (Mead) Cross.
Survivors include a brother: Jeff (Judy) Cross of Huntington; a step-brother: David Caley of Battle Creek, MI; a son: Colt Cross of Westville, IN; three grandchildren; a niece: Brandi Cross and a nephew: Eric (Jessica) Cross.
He was preceded in death by his Aunt/Step-Mother: Clarabel Caley.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Indiana.
Interment will be at a later date in the Markle Cemetery.
