Diana Hartley, 64 of Huntington passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 19, 2022. Diana enjoyed the simple things like watching humming birds and deer while swinging in her back yard. She enjoyed traveling to concerts with her husband Tom and listening to the ocean. Her family brought her the most joy, especially her grandchildren. They had so much fun going on golf cart rides together. Diana attended Otterbein United Methodist Church. She loved God and found great comfort in Him and His word.
Diana was born on May 26, 1957 in Lafayette, Indiana, the daughter of the late Elmer and Lorraine (Pickerel) Young.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Hartley on May 15, 1975 in Fowler, Indiana. Tom survives.
Additional survivors include a son: James (Ashley) Hartley of Huntington; a daughter: Amanda (Tyson Davis) Hartley of Huntington; two sisters: Jean (Russell) Kyger of Rossville, IN, Betty (Gary) Kyle of Rossville, IN and a brother: Roger (Moni) Young of Otterbein, IN; four grandchildren: Bryce Davis, Nolan Hartley, Maverick Hartley, Addison Hartley and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Young.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will follow visitation at 3:00 pm. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s Health guidelines.
Private family interment will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington County at a later date.
