Danny Max "Murf" Murphy

Danny M. "Murf" Murphy, age 71, of Warren, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Lutheran Hospital. He was a long time semi driver and muscle diver, he enjoyed both of his jobs. Danny loved the outdoors, cooking, fishing, camping, gardening, football, especially the Colts, Harley Davidson, and most of all being with his grandchildren every day. He was a loving and caring son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend to many. Danny is survived by his children: Danielle (Scott Yeargan) Brennan, Jennifer Murphy, Gregory Brennan, Jonathon Brennan; a brother: Kenny (Laura) Murphy; a sister: Cyndie (Charlie) Shaw and ten grandchildren: Bentley Smith, Jazzlynn Yeargan, Jordyn Yeargan, Jaspyn Yeargan, Jasmynn Yeargan, Jacklynn Yeargan, Jaxyn Yeargan, Paisley Craft, Jamie Marsee, Dillion Marsee and Casey Murphy. He was preceded in death by his mother: Ruth E. (Parker) Ingle; his father: Richard W. Murphy; a son: Jason Murphy, and three brothers: William "Bill" Murphy, Greg Murphy, and Rick Murphy. A graveside service for Danny will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery, Huntington, Indiana. Pallbearers: Gregory Brennan, Jonathon Brennan, Scott Yeargan, Jaspyn Yeargan, Jordyn Yeargan, Chad Shaw, Cody Grunden and John Grunden.
