Betty Lou Prasch, 85 of Huntington, passed away peacefully with her family around her, Sunday morning September 29, 2024 at the Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Betty was a homemaker and had several odd jobs over the years. She was a 1957 High school graduate in Baltimore, Maryland. Betty loved to bowl, play bingo and doing needle point. Her favorite loves in life were her family and traveling around the country with her husband Russ. In their adventures they were able to visit all fifty states. Betty was born on January 1, 1939 in Martinsburg, WV, a daughter of the late James and Francis (Fields) Kennedy. She was united in marriage to George "Russ" Prasch on October 18, 1958 in Baltimore, MD. Russ preceded her in death on July 5, 2023. Survivors include three daughters: Vickie (Rod) Parsell of Marysville, OH, Amy Lahr of Huntington and Jennifer (Brad) Hethcote of Andrews; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter and son-in-law: Edna & John Smith; a brother: Ronnie Kennedy and a sister: Barbara Palaski. There will be no public visitation or services. Preferred memorials can be made out to either the "Save the Children" or "Boystown" Organizations, those can be sent in care to Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St. Huntington, IN 46750.
