Ann Bowers, 70 of Huntington passed away at 9:25 am on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice in Fort Wayne. Ann was a 1963 graduate of Huntington Township High School. She had worked as a beautician and formerly worked for Modern Molding in Markle. She had attended The Mission House Church of Huntington and formerly attended The First Church of the Nazarene in Huntington.
She was born on August 15, 1945 in Huntington County, a daughter of Walter H. and Velma L. (Reed) Willour.
She was united in marriage to Larry W. Bowers on December 19, 1964 in Huntington. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two sons: Carey Bowers of Huntington; Kyle (Lovely) Bowers of Huntington; two daughters: Christy (Gerald) Carpenter of Huntington; Karmen (Kevin) Olinger of Huntington; two brothers: Larry Willour of Convoy, OH; Jerry Willour of Huntington; a sister: Rhonda (Fred) Crago of Huntington; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 2:00pm with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Jim Splawn and Pastor Lori Markiewicz officiating.
Interment will be at will take place at the Zion Cemetery in Huntington County.
Memorial donations can be made out to Mission House Food Pantry in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
