Buford Stewart

Buford Stewart died on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Grandview Hospital in Sellersville, PA. He was 94 years of age. Born in Cullman AL, he was the son of the late Travis and Rose Stewart. Buford was a Sellersville resident for the past 8 years; he had previously lived in Tuckerton, NJ and Levittown, PA.

Mr. Stewart was a retired boilermaker and was a member of International Brotherhood of Boilermaker’s Local 13 in Levittown. Buford was an Army veteran of WW II serving in New Guinea. He was a member of American Legion Post 0960 in Levittown. He was a former member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Levittown.

Buford was the beloved husband of Moselle Pentecost Stewart for 51 years before her death in 2001. He was the devoted father of Joyce K. Quinn of Sellersville and step father of Richard Bullington and wife, Joan of Homosassa, FL. He was the loving grandfather of Kimberly Kohler and husband Edward, Gwyn Langborgh and husband Peter, Donna and James Bullington; great grandfather of Nicholas and Justin Kohler, James Bullington, Lauren and Megan Taylor, Sara and Michele Langborgh, and the late Shana Bullington; great – great grandfather of Cameron, Avery Taylor and Lilly Bullington. He was the brother of Elizabeth and Polly, the late Roscoe, Verlo, and Ruby.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 14th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. His service will follow at 10:30 AM. The interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery private.
