Helen Dian Kiser, 81, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024, in Houston, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born on March 4, 1942, in West Virginia to Lemmie and Nora Gladys Adkins. She married the late Charles Kiser on November 28, 1958, and shared 60 years of wedded bliss together, made all the fore beautiful by the birth of their 2 children, Vanessa Gale Cates and Richard Lee Kiser.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her family meant everything to her.
She was known for her cooking and baking, and was adored by so many for her loving, caring ways. She enjoyed attending church services, and playing cards and board games.
She will be remembered for her kindness to others and the unconditional love she had for her family.
Helen is survived by his son Richard Lee Kiser and his wife Cheryl Kiser, her son in law Roger Cates, her grandchildren Charles Cates, Grant Moore, Christen Wood, Candice Herrington, Maegan Melo, Christopher Kiser, Danielle Blancett, Chelsea Rounds Calore and Dallas Utz, her 23 Great-Grandchildren, her sister's Buelah Lester and Emma Shaffer and her brother Lemmie Adkins as well as one Great, Great Grandchild and best friend Carolyn Whitlock.
A viewing for Helen will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cem, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A celebration of life will occur Monday, January 22, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A committal service will occur Monday, January 22, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
