Wakako Matsuura Kono

Wakako enjoyed spending her time singing karaoke, she belonged to the Cortez Karaoke Singers Group. She also spent her time making Japanese dolls as well as Japanese flower arrangements. Wakako loved eating at different restaurants, and cooking different dishes for example futomaki, and inari and a variety of different dishes.

Wakako is survived by her daughters Diane (Dewey); Linda (Heinz); Annette, 7 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.

Wakako was preceded in death by her husband Tom.

A memorial service for Wakako will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1:00 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home - Riverside Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326.
