Paul Ross Kinney

May 12, 1953 - November 16, 2024

Paul Ross Kinney, 71, of Oakdale, California, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Elmer Kinney (deceased) and Eleanor Morrison, Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Leah; daughter, Sara (William); grandchildren, Kayleen (Cory), Matthew, Connor, and Devin; great-grandchildren, Hazel and Willow; his sisters, Debbie and Pam; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Mark.

Paul dedicated many years of his life to his work as a Stationary Engineer with Local 39, where he earned the respect of his colleagues and community. A passionate car enthusiast, he was an active member of the Modesto Pharoahs Car Club and had a particular love for classic cars. In addition to his automotive interests, Paul was an avid photographer, capturing the beauty of life through his lens.

Known as the life of the party, Paul was a loving friend to many, embracing everyone for who they were. He had a unique ability to make people feel special and valued, creating an atmosphere of joy and laughter wherever he went.

Above all, Paul cherished his family and loved spending time with them, creating memories that will last a lifetime. His warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held on February 1, 2025, at the Veterans Hall in Niles (Fremont) at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Paul Kinney 4-H Memorial Fund at F & M Bank in Modesto to honor his legacy.
