Matthew Albert Walker

Matthew went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 4, 2013. Matthew was born in Modesto, California on May 29, 1983 to his parents, Chuck and Karrin Walker. Matt was a resident of Modesto his entire life, he was a graduate of Grace Davis High School class of 2001. During high school Matt excelled in wrestling and diving. During this time he was also awarded the rank of Eagle Scout with troop 194 in Modesto. After high school Matt decided to pursue a career in mechanics. He graduated from Universal Technical Institute with honors in automotive repair and began working at Alz Auto Repair in Modesto. Matt is preceded in death by his brothers: Conner and Mitchell Walker, grand-dad, Jack Hagins, and grandparents, Chris and Charlotte Walker. He is survived by his parents, Chuck and Karrin Walker, Nona, Janice Hagins, aunts: Kathi Hagins, Marjorie Whitney (Tom Maloney), Judith (Ernie) Hoff, and Maureen Latronico, uncles: Chris (Karla) Walker, and Vince (Debbie) Hagins, and numerous cousins. A memorial service will be held to honor Matt’s life at Lakewood Funeral Home (Riverside Chapel) 900 Santa Fe Ave. Hughson CA 95326, on Friday, March 15th at 2:00pm.
