Mary Angeline Connett

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Mary Angeline Connett announces her passing on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the age of 89. Mary was born and raised in Oakland, California and graduated from Technical High School in 1947. As early as her teenage years all the way up into her seventies she was a dedicated and devoted homemaker, she also worked and provided for her family. From her first job being an elevator operator in a department store, to picking cauliflower, working in the assembly line for GM Motors, and all the way to property management for well over 30 years. Mary enjoyed her golden years playing bingo and blackjack with friends and sipping on her occasional V.S.O.P Brandy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Angelo Lamanna and Teresa Lamanna, her brother, Donald Lamanna, and her husband of forty years, Russell Connett.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her four children - Marie Morano and her husband Alex, Richard Lanza and his wife Colleen, Michael Lanza and his wife Theresa, and Teresa Paul and her husband Scott.

She will be further remembered by her five grandchildren and their (spouses) - Jessica Nietzel, Richard D. Lanza (Kristan Lanza), Sarah Randle (Kevin Randle), Charles Sherman (Julya Sherman), Michael Lanza (Jessica Lanza), and Samantha Lowe (Jeffrey Lowe).

She was a loving Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother to: Jenessa Bell, Zachary Nietzel, Charlotte Lanza, Avary Lanza, Kallie Randle, Leigha Lanza, Izabel Lanza, Zoey Lanza, Lilly Waters, Abbey Waters, Hailey Tynes, Skylar Sherman, Annaliese Sherman, Emmalee Sherman, Jacoby Bell, and Vito Rinauro.
