Linda Lou Hunter

Linda Lou Hunter, 80, of Visalia Ca, passed away on April 4th 2024. Linda was born on July 25th in 1943, to Gwendolyn and Carl Pearson in Albany California. She lost her father at a young age and then O. T " Buck" helped to raise Linda as his own after her mother remarried. She was the oldest of two sisters Glenda New and Brenda Carletta Pearson Sherill Cohea.

October 12, 1991 Linda Married Steve Hunter in Reno, Nevada. Although Linda lives most of her life in Modesto Ca, Steve and Linda moved around 10 years ago to Visalia Ca, to be closer to their family. Linda never had children but she took an active part being involved in her nieces and nephews lives Aleesha Sherill-Mcnear and William Sherill and Dede Gong and Tim New. She also had an active part in her great nieces Alexis and Josslin Mcnear.

Linda had a great love for her family. She loved traveling to Hawaii with her husband Steve. She had a passion gambling, starbucks and See's candy. Linda had a love for anything chocolate. She was a proud dog mom to her dogs throughout the years. Her family looked forward to the times Linda would make her famous watergate salad and fudge. Linda is at peace smiling down and watching over us all with her mom Gwendolyn.

Linda Lou Hunter's service will be held on April 26th, 2024 at Lakewood Memorial in Hughson California. The viewing will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The gravesite service will start at 12:30pm. We invite everyone who loved an knew her to come to the service and viewing. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
