Leonora Kinkade of Sonora, Ca formerly of Cressey, Ca. passed away on September 13, 2017 at the age of 80 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House, Hughson, Ca. after a brief illness. She was born August 1, 1937 in Livermore, Ca to Linda and Leonard Block. She attended local schools and graduated from Denair High School. After raising her family, she earned a degree in the field of nursing where she was employed for over thirty five years until retirement.
Leo loved gardening, cooking and entertaining. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, known for her good sense of humor and loving smile. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Linda Block, her son, Daniel Edeal and two daughters, Kim Edeal Ladonga and Christy Edeal. Leonora is survived by her husband, John Kinkade of Sonora, son, David Edeal of Apex, N.C., daughter in law, Sharon Edeal, two grandchildren, Sydney and Spencer Edeal and her sister, Andrea Block of Turlock, Ca. A Celebration of life service will be held at Sonora Hills at a later date.
