Kenneth was born April 6, 1946 to Leroy and Beulah Utz in San Antonio, Texas. He lived majority of his life in Keyes and Denair, California. He would go to school early and go home to help his father work. He joined the Navy as a young man. Serving his country was one of the proudest moments in his life. Later marrying and having a family of four children. He worked for Hershey’s Food in Oakdale, CA for over 40 years before retiring. Kenneth taught his children the value of life was not in money but time spent with his loved ones. This was usually camping, bass fishing, hunting or just being present in their lives. He would attend wrestling matches for his sons and was always there to change a flat when one of his daughters called.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Leroy (1978) Beulah (2010). His brother Eugene (1990) and sister Irene (2010). His stepson Dwayne Wood (2005).
He is survived by his wife Carol Utz of Turlock. His children Kenneth Utz, Jr (Patti) of Denair, CA, Richard Utz (Amber) of Modesto, CA, Jennifer (Utz) Langston (Joel) of Henrietta, TX, Cindy Utz of Saint Hedwig, TX and stepson Frankie Wood. His sister Peggy Brown of Keyes, CA; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
