John was born on December 29, 1947 in Pennsylvania to parents John and Mary Vernacchio. After graduating high school, John dedicated over 25 years to Bronco Winery and was a member of the local 186d UFCW Wine Distillery & Allied Workers Union.
As an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, John enjoyed watching the games on his TV, and shared his love of sports with all. He enjoyed coin collecting and playing Bingo with family and friends. Most of all, John loved spending time with his family; especially with his two granddaughters, Isabella (Pumpkin) and Giavanna (Pickle).
John is survived by his two sons, John Vernacchio Jr. and Phillip Vernacchio. He is preceded in passing by the love of his life, wife Marie Vernacchio; and his son Robert Gonzales.
