Donald Ralph Keough

Donald R. Keough, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 31, 2022. Don was born on June 4, 1931, in Santa Barbara, California. He was the son of the late Walter Keough and Florence Holland and stepparents Ray Holland and Dora Keough. His Siblings include Bob, Buster, Mary Ann, Betty, Beverly, and Vickie.

Don served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Rowan during the Korean War. He later worked for Hershey’s Chocolate Factory for over 30 years where he eventually retired.

Don loved to ride his three-wheeled bike, sharing a smile and conversation with those he met along the way. He also enjoyed building model trains as part of the Oakdale Model Train Club and loved gardening. He was happiest spending time with his beloved family.

Don is survived by his daughters Deborah Keough, Donna David, and Darla Mason; granddaughters, Ashley Smith, Chelsi Ewbank, and Hannah David; four great grandchildren, Nikita, Ember, Ryan, and Avery. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Georgia and his great grandson Jayden.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Lakewood Cemetery in Hughson, Ca.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name.
