Andrew D. Shewbart, 68, son of Andrew & Rachel Shewbart, passed away suddenly at his home in Ceres. Andy was very athletic; he played baseball and basketball throughout High School. Another favorite pastime was horseback riding and team roping. In the 60's & early 70's, he had a Barber Shop on 4th Street in Ceres. Of course, it was called Andy's Barber Shop.
Andy is survived by two sisters; Pat Birdwell, of Merkle, TX, and Mavis Ledbetter, of Ceres, CA and 8 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, and 13 great-great nieces and nephews.
