Willie Ray Campbell

Willie Ray Campbell, 72, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013. He was born on December 7, 1940 to Willie H. Campbell and Lexa Harvey in Joaquin, Texas. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, and two children, Sharon Laverne Koebelen and Bobby Joe Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Campbell; son, Charles and wife Charlena Campbell; grandchildren, Bradley Cadle, Sherri Trowbridge and husband Jonathon; great grandchild, Bailey Trowbridge; sister, Lavern Kirkland and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:00AM in the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park.

Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles; I’ve only gone to rest a little while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt, and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now, but as I used to be.
