William “Bill” N. Wilson, 85, of Houston, TX passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021. He was born in Vernon, TX on October 4, 1935 to Dr. G. N. and Louise Wilson (Abbott). Bill was a beloved husband to Catheryn (Abate) Wilson of Marlin, TX for over 60 years. A proud graduate of Vernon High School and Baylor University (B.S), Bill worked many decades for South-western Bell / AT&T in management. Upon retiring, Bill served as Business Administrators at Palmer Memorial Episcopal and Saint Martin’s Episcopal Churches, and also sold real estate for Keller Williams Memorial in Houston. He was a faithful member of St. Cyril of Alexandria and St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Churches. Bill had a passion for anything Baylor University, golfing especially with his friends at Sugar Creek Country Club, his children’s activities, serving at church, and enjoying the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. G.N.Wilson, mother Louise Wilson (Abbott), step-father Bill Abbott, and step-sister Carolyn Peeler. Bill is survived by wife Catheryn Wilson, son William N. Wilson II (wife Helen), son the Rev. Dr. Bryan A. Wilson (wife Stacey), and grandson Kaleb G. Wilson, step-brother William Abbott Peeler and step-sister Maribel Peeler Griffon (husband Mark). The family had a private service of remembrance and celebration at Woodlawn Cemetery (Houston, TX) on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
