William Francis Kelly III

William Francis Kelly III passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, at the age of 92 in Cypress, Texas. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on May 11, 1932, and grew up on Long Island, New York. He attended Bishop Loughin High School in Brooklyn and received a Masters degree from Maryknoll Seminary and was a devout Catholic. He was married to Pauline Henderson for 33 years. Bill had a career in teaching and training for the US Army, City of Houston, Fish Engineering and as an independent consultant. He had a passion for gardening, square dancing, bridge, sailing, painting, and writing and had five published novels. He is survived by his wife Pauline V. Kelly; his daughter Theresa Mendoza and her husband Ernest; his daughter Eileen Jones; his son Billy Kelly and his wife Lisa; his daughter Carolyn Mikel and her husband Patrick; his stepson Donny Henderson and his wife Ruth; his stepson Gene Henderson; his stepson Eddie Paul Henderson and his wife Christine; He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Loyal, Kristin, Josh, Rachael, Aaron, Hannah, Maddy, Emily, Sam, Kate, Gracie, Abigail, Jake, John, Kallie, Eddie, Melinda and Evan; along with 13 great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his father William F. Kelly II and his mother Marie Burke Kelly and siblings, Paul Kelly, Arlene Backus and Regina Kelly.
