Wenyan Li, loving son, devoted husband, cherished father and adored grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday, the 27th of June 2022, in Houston, Texas at the age of 82 years. He was born on the 24th of August 1939, in Tangshan, Hebei, China and raised by his caring mother, Wan Junying. Wenyan became the first person in his family to attend university in Beijing,China.
Wenyan met his wife, Jinrong Zhu, the love of his life in high school and married her on the 1st of October 1965, following his completion of college.
Wenyan loved spending time with his family. His favorite sport was fishing and enjoyed fishing with his sons and his grandchildren and held the family record for most fishing.
Mr. Li worked very hard his entire life to make sure his children all received a better education and that they did better in life than he did.
He is survived by wife, Jinrong Zhu; three sons, Eddie Li and wife, Hong, James Li and his wife, Yi Zhang, and Kenny Li and wife Yiping Kang. Other survivors include his five grandchildren.
A private funeral service for Mr. Li will be held.
