Walter William “Bill” Revels 78, a resident of Alvin, TX for 12 years, went to be with the Lord on 10 Apr 2015. Bill was born on 14 Sept. 1936 to Gelon B Revels and Ruth Mae Shearer Revels in Galveston, TX. Bill met his wife Barbara Jean Peikert Revels at the Blue Hole in Galveston, TX. Bill and Barbara got married on 02 Mar 1957 in Galveston, TX.

Bill enjoyed watching The Oilers, Astros, Texans, and Number 24 Jeff Gordon, He loved to listen to Old Country Music Hank Williams, Tex Ritter, and Marty Robbins and loved watching old movies like John Wayne, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and Audie Murphy. Bill and Barbara had three Children, Ruth Revels Strahan, Walter William Revels Jr., and Richard Alan Revels.

Bill is survived by his Children: Ruth Revels Strahan of Alvin, Willie Revels (Dee) of Crockett, and Alan Revels (Debbie) of Spring. Grand Children: Scott Strahan (Darla), Chris Revels (Tina), and Michael Revels of Alvin, Alan Revels Jr (Dana), of Crosby, Jennifer Kirby of Kingwood, Josh Grimm (Morgan) of Marblefalls, Travis Revels of Spring, TX, Brian Revels (Brittany) of Katy, Krystal Revels of Tyler, Little Willie Revels of Crockett. 11 Great Grand Children. 1 Great Great Grandson, and many Nephews and Nieces.

Bill is preceded in death by his Wife: Barbara Revels, Parents: Gelon B Revels, Ruth Mae Shearer Revels, and Brothers: Albert Hodney, Gelon B Revels Jr. Sister: Lois Jean Jennings. Grandparents: John Hardy Revels, Rebecca Ann Boxx Revels, Louis William Shearer, Elsie L Cool Shearer. Son In-Law: Royce Norman Strahan. Grandson: William Aaron Strahan.

Bill Revels will be cremated and his cremated remains will be placed with his wife, Barbara Revels at Brookside Memorial Park.

Services will be at the residence of Ruth Strahan on Saturday, 18 Apr 2015 at Noon.
