FORT WORTH – Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Vivian Roy Derr passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, at 90 years of age.
Funeral: 10:00 am Wednesday, graveside. Visitation: Tuesday 6 – 8 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, TX.
Vivian was born June 9,1927, in Miranda City, TX. She was married to the love of her life, George Derr, for 55 years before his death in 2001. Vivian was loved by all her family & friends.
Survivors: Daughters Janice Derr Nevins & Brenda Derr Ballard; Grandchildren G. Eric Nevins, Erin Ballard Duffield, Audra Ballard, Eli and Jacob Derr Gautreaux, several beloved nieces and nephews as well as great grandchildren. Predeceased by: husband George, son Kenneth, sisters Verlin Tomison Walrath and Birtha Roy Baros, brothers Carl Roy & Clyde Roy.
