Victor Charles Hendrix passed away at his home on June 17, 2021 at the age of 50. He was born February 21, 1971 in Houston, TX and was raised in the Quail Valley area of Missouri City, TX where he attended Dulles High School.
In 1993, Victor enlisted in the United States Navy where he was stationed with his soon-to-be-wife, Emiley, at NAS Kingsville as an air traffic controller, serving our country for five years. They would marry in 1994 and would be together for 27 years, much of that time spent in Sugar Land, TX. He is survived by the love of his life, Emiley, and their three children, Brennan, Ethan, and Olivia; his sister, Sheree Hendrix Howard; father, Dale Hendrix and his wife, Michele Hendrix. Victor was preceded in death by his mother, Verlina.
Victor would earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics and a Master of Aeronautical Science in Aviation/Aerospace Management. He would work for the Federal Aviation Administration, with various assignments over 13 years, and complete his tenure at Houston’s Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON). Victor recently became CEO and Head of Sales for Liquidity Connect, continuing a distinguished career within the foreign exchange (forex) community.
No one cared about relationships more than Victor. If there were people to talk to, Victor was there. If there was a connection to be made, he would find it. If there was a story to be told, he would find a way to tie it back to you… eventually… and especially after taking one of his signature naps. His relationships were made at his favorite places– the golf course, the tennis court, a karaoke stage, at church or in an office. You were going to get to know Victor wherever you met him, and you would be so fortunate to call him your friend. His heart was as big as Texas. He loved his family so much, and the legacy of faith in Christ they instilled in him, but the relationship Victor cherished most was with his soulmate and their three kids. If you were ever around Victor and Emiley, you experienced a palpable kind of love. Together, they were an unstoppable force.
The family kindly requests that you support Hermano Pablo Ministries and the Fort Bend Women’s Center.
A Celebration of Life service for Victor Hendrix will be held on Friday, June 25 at 1pm at Grace Presbyterian Church in Houston, Tx. No reception following.
