She graduated from Waller High School in 2013 where she received her Texas Nurse Aide Registry. After graduation Vero worked and attended Lone Star College Tomball. She was one class away from applying to the radiology program.
Vero was genuine and had a very kind spirit and a contagious smile that will always remain in the hearts of those left missing her presence.
Her favorite food was Crawfish, sausage and “carne asada”. She loved passing time with family, good friends and especially her many pets. Vero enjoyed listening to music and one of her favorite artists, ever since she was a young child, was Selena.
Veronica has left a great void in the heart of her mother, Maria Yolanda Saldaña; Lilian Covarrubias, her second mom as she called her, and those she considered as siblings Alan Guel, Priscilla and Arely Ramirez; uncles, Fernando, Jorge, and Miguel Saldaña; Levi Saldaña her favorite “tia”and a very special person in her life her “Tia Coco”, Maria Covarrubias that has been a pillared in these hard times. The Tamayo family has been there in the good times and difficult ones. They’ve been our special support team.
Special thanks to all of Vero’s friends and coworkers that have shared kind words and sent many prayers to the family, especially Jenny, Wendy, Alexis, Riza and Luis. A heart warm thanks to all that have shared through social media special words and fun stories of Vero in their life. A special recognition to the Waller family that has continuously demonstrated their love and support in Veronica’s life.
Veronica’s burial will be on Saturday, April 2nd at 10 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy Webster, TX 77598.
