Troy Jermaine Vaughn

Troy Jermaine Vaughn was born on May 31, 1979 in Houston, Texas to Sandra Vaughn and Michael Crowder. Troy accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age where he attended Christ Community Fellowship Baptist Church; under the leadership of the late Pastor Edgar E. Stowers.

Troy was a graduate of Barbara Jordan High School. He also attended the National Institute of Technology; Houston Community College as well as Texas Southern University; where he studied coursework in Pharmacy Technology as well as Human Anatomy and Physiology. He began his career as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens. He later worked at Texas Children’s Hospital and Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital. In an opportunity for career advancement, he was employed with HCA Houston Healthcare Hospital – Medical Center.

Troy departed this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 surrounded by his family. His memory will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Louis Vaugh Jr.; paternal grandfather, Milton Crowder; paternal grandmother Ola V. Crowder Thomas; Uncle Ronald Joe Vaughn, Uncle Louis Renard Vaughn Sr. and Aunt Tammy Vaughn.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Talian Vaughn and Tyler Vaughn; mother, Sandra Vaughn (Archie); father, Michael Crowder; sister, Romithea Stallworth (Jerome); grandmother, Earline Vaughn; bonus sons, Tony Bradford Jr., Torian Bradford and Torrance Bradford; cousin (brother) Shannon Vaughn; aunt, Mildred Myles; aunt, Mae Ola Vaughn, aunt, Stephanie Vaughn (Larry); uncle, Russell Vaughn (Sharon); uncle Terry Vaughn (Arleen); niece Keiyona Aceman, niece Kayla Stallworth; aunt, Doris Faye Crowder; aunt Linda Goodwill; aunt, Annette Jolivett (Earl); uncle, Layman Charles Crowder (Demetria); cousin, Tamika Nellum (Elcyon); cousin, Crystal Vaughn (Timothy); cousin, Tracy Young (Josephius); cousin, Tyffany Smith (Roderick); cousin, Bradford Vaughn; cousin, LaTanya Moore; cousin Brandon Crowder; cousin, Courtney Crowder; cousin, Shelly Booker; cousin, Kendra Crowder; cousin, Michael Bailey; cousin, Nikki Dorsey; cousin, Joslyn Trahan; cousin, Christopher Crowder; cousin, LaKisha Taylor; cousin, Ronald Phelps and cousin, Briana Jolivett and a host of relatives and friends.
