He was preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa Michelle DeReese, his son, Jeremy Michael DeReese, his loving parents, Clara and George DeReese, and other dear family members.
Tim is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Jeana Ann DeReese, who was the love of his life. He also leaves behind his grandson, Zane DeReese, his sisters Donna Manthei and her husband Teddy; and Kathy Schneider and her husband Dennis, his brother George Carl DeReese and his wife Annie, and numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly.
Tim's Journey began in Orange Grove, Texas, where he graduated from Bay City High School. He started college at the University of Houston but soon answered the call to service his country by joining the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After his honorable service, he returned to complete his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Texas A & M University in Kingsville, Texas.
Tim's life was marked by his entrepreneurial spirit, evident from his high school days when he ran a firework stand and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Tim had an industrious career as an appraiser for over 40 years and was lovingly known as "Timbo" by his colleagues. He also had his brokers license and won numerous awards throughout his career. Tim had a love of hunting, which he shared with his younger brother George, and he found joy in gardening, grilling, and spending quality time with his family.
A devout member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Tim's faith was a cornerstone of his life. His outgoing and positive disposition made him a joy to be around, and he was always ready with a smile, infectious laugh, and a kind word for everyone he met. Tim will be remembered for his sense of humor and his unwavering positivity. His presence brought light and joy to all who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire and uplift those he left behind.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church; 11507 Huffmeister Rd, Houston, Tx, 77065. A small reception will be held at the church immediately following the funeral mass.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
