Timothy Donald Archer

Timothy D. Archer, age 74, of Houston, Texas, passed Saturday, July 20, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home of forty-three years. Born September 18, 1944, in Lewistown, Montana. He was the son of the late Laurie Deane Archer and Hazel Marie Archer of Teigen, Montana.

Before Tim was a respected accountant at MI Drilling, retiring after thirty years, he served on the USS Haynesworth. While at port at Galveston, Texas, he met his wife of 51 years Brenda Kay Smith. He traveled extensively and resided with his family in both Singapore and Nigeria for a number of years. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, reading, traveling with his wife, an avid Houston sports fan, playing computer games with his sons, and swimming with his adoring grandchildren.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Kay Archer; along with his children, Robert Archer of Lees Summit, Missouri, Mike and Amy Archer of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Austin Archer, Lane Archer, Alex Archer, Grace Archer, Cameron Archer, step-granddaughters Maggie Burns, Abbie Burns, brother Larry Archer; and many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.

A memorial service for Timothy Archer will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 25, 2019, Brookside Funeral Home, 9149 HWY 6 N, Houston, Texas, 77095.
