He was born on January 20, 1931 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Dr. Thomas Edward Clements and Nora Haofpauer Clements. Tom graduated from McNeese State University with a degree in Animal Husbandry. He also served in the United States Air Force.
Tom was a career Air Traffic Controller, a pilot, an avid outdoorsman, a prankster, an artist, a veteran, a great friend, a loving husband, father and Paw Paw. He and his wife of 55 years, Peggy Williams Clements, enjoyed creating and maintaining an eclectic group of friends through years of travel and adventure. Tom was active in many interest groups throughout his life and supported many charitable organizations, especially St. Joseph’s Indian School of South Dakota.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Williams Clements; daughters Minette Clements Gall (Ron) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Melissa Ann Clements of Austin, Texas; and Melinda Clements Reier (Rob) of The Woodlands, Texas; 5 grandchildren; Jeremy Gall (Teona), T.Elliot Gall, Emily Gall, Carly Reier, and Hailey Reier, 2 great grandchildren; Rayce Gall and Ashlyn Gall; and many close family members and dear friends
