Terry "Buddy" Wayne Clark

He later moved to La Porte, Texas where he graduated high school.

After graduating high school, Buddy moved with his family to Conroe, Tx where he spent the remainder of his life.

Buddy worked for many years at Continental Airlines. As well as security work until he retired.

Terry's true passion lay in classic cars and trucks. He was a proud member of several car clubs in Montgomery County. Terry was a familiar face at car shows and meet-ups. He enjoyed showcasing his vehicles and sharing his knowledge with fellow car enthusiasts. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people. He made friends effortlessly at every event he attended. He was a generous friend to all and would quite literally give the shirt off his back to help anyone. Terry, our Buddy, was a steadfast friend, brother, and son. He had a heart of gold, and loved being needed. He was always willing to help however he could. His life was an example of kindness, compassion, and unwavering friendship, qualities that touched everyone he encountered.

Family holidays were filled with his laughter and all his funny stories. His nephews will never forget all the pats on the back that would make them instantly stand at attention. His sisters and niece will remember all those loving hugs. We find comfort in knowing that this past year he spent many hours on his balcony by the lake watching all the boats go by. It brought him great joy and contentment. He will never be forgotten and greatly missed by everyone.

Terry is survived by his loving parents, Ron and Sandra Clark; his sister, Sheryl Contreras; brother-in-law, Genaro Contreras; their children, Jason Contreras and Ann Contreras; and his cherished great-niece, Carolina. He is also survived by his sister, Beth Clark, and her sons, Ethan Umlang and Drew Umlang. Terry is also survived by his numerous friends.

A visitation for Buddy will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service is to follow at 11:00 AM. The committal service will occur from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
