Teresa Victoria Puig, age 62, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Houston,Texas after a long battle with cancer. As the oldest of three girls, Teresa learned to camp and fish at an early age. Her love for the outdoors led her to become a longstanding member of the Girl Scouts of America Where she discovered and perfected her life-long favorite campfire dessert, "S'Mores!" Growing up in Houston, Teresa studied dance and loved to sing in the church and school choirs as well as perform in musical theater. She attended Lamar Senior High School and was a proud participant in the Spanish Honor Society, Drama Club, Mime Troupe, and the elite Madrigal Choir. Following her studies at the University of Houston, Teresa worked as an Administrative Assistant for a major oil company, retiring after decades of service. She is preceded in death by her father, W. Allen Brazell; mother, Angela V. Brazell; and husband, Richard B. Puig. Left behind to cherish Teresa’s memory are her 2 sons, Christopher G. Morgan and Jason R. Tillie; two sisters, Gina L. Brazell and Brenda E. Crawford; one stepsister, five stepdaughters, eight grandchildren and many more beloved family and friends. Services will be held at Crespo Funeral Home - Broadway, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, TX 77087, Telephone: (713) 644-3831. Visitation will be Friday, September 9th from 5-8pm, and again Saturday, September 10th from 9:30am -11am. The funeral service will then begin at 11am on Saturday September 10th, followed by the internment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023
