Sylvia Laura Trevino, 55, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Houston, TX. Born December 31, 1957 to Sotero Trevino and Rita Ayala in McAllen, TX. As the first born and peacekeeper, she loved spending time with her family, playing Mexican bingo and was the glue of the Trevino family.
Sylvia is survived by her partner of 16 years Angela Wingfield, her mother Rita Ayala and her daughter Jennifer Trevino Starr and granddaughter Lucy Starr. She is also survived by her siblings Rosie, Sotero, Jesse, Jorge and Rita Trevino and Norma Thompson.
She will be remembered by her nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Jesse, Lisa, Joshua, and Gabby Trevino.
Sylvia will be missed by her extended family and the numerous friends she always considered family.
Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek in Houston, TX on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm.
The service will be held Monday at 7:00pm.
The graveside ceremony at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Austin, TX will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 2:00pm.
