Steven Edward Reynolds

Steven Edward Reynolds, 67, went to eternal rest on February 4, 2022. He was born in Mount Vernon, Illinois on January 22, 1955 to, Harl and Doris Reynolds. He married the love of his life, Cynthia Marshall Reynolds, and they lovingly raised Allison Ann Reynolds. Steve will be truly missed.

Steve was a smart, hardworking man who made his business contacts glad to have him on their jobs. Steve was a master carpenter for over 50 years and took great joy in his work and craft. He worked for many prestigious individuals in Houston, Texas and his work of installing fine custom cabinetry was featured in many magazines. He worked on over 1,000 homes in the Galveston-Houston and South Texas area.

Steve was devoted to work for his family and home and was most proud of his daughters accomplishments. Steve took pride in coaching his daughters sports teams. He loved to have fun and play pranks on his friends and coworkers. He also loved attending live music shows with friends and family. Music spoke to him in a special way.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia and daughter, Allison Reynolds. As well as his two sisters, Jane, husband, Rick Voyles and Janet Frailey.

Steve is proceeded by his parents and brother in law Ronnie Frailey. May Steve rest in eternal peace. We love you - Cindy and Allie.

A visitation for Steven will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary service will occur Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 7:00 PM.

A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 8825 Kempwood Dr., Houston, TX 77080. A graveside service will follow the funeral service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. After graveside services, you are invited to join with our family for visitation and refreshments at the Holland Hall Reception room of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
