Siria married Clavio Villarreal and together they built a beautiful family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her loved ones deeply. Siria worked for many years as a childcare director at the M.D. Anderson Y.M.C.A., a role that reflected her nurturing spirit and love for children.
In her personal life, Siria had many passions. She loved playing volleyball, tending to her garden, and traveling to new places. A dedicated sports fan, she enjoyed watching football—always cheering on her beloved Cowboys—and baseball. She also relished spending time with her family, hosting holiday gatherings and outings, and sharing meals together. Her home was always open to those she cared about, and her warm presence will be dearly missed.
Siria is survived by her daughters Ruby Villarreal and Claudia A. Rains (Kerry Rains); her sister Rachel McGough of Arkansas; her brother Danny Elizalde (Francis) of Refugio, Texas; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clavio Villarreal; daughter, Virginia Villarreal; and sons, Rudolpho Villarreal and Ray Villarreal; as well as many siblings that have gone before her.
Siria's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with those who have gone before her.
