Sheila Yvonne M. James

On Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:35 PM Sheila Yvonne Merine James neé Hinds was called by her maker to rest in peace until the great resurrection morning. Yvonne was born to parents -the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hinds in the garden parents parish of St. Ann ,Jamaica.

She lived the most part of her adult life in the breadbasket parish of St. Elizabeth and this was where she met the late debonair George James. Soon after they were joined in Holy matrimony. This union produce three beautiful daughters Arlene ,Kalama and Andrea and by extension four wonderful grandchildren who were the most important part of her life.

A teacher, by profession and a philanthropist in her own rights, a lady of class and integrity has made a genuine impact on society, her life has touched hundreds of other lives because of her generosity and Christian virtues.

An icon and-a role model to her eleven siblings have won their greatest admiration and love for her by every single one of them.

She is survived by one of her greatest mentors her dearly beloved 96 year old aunt Marie. Yvonne would spend long hours grasping her wise advice and sound counsels and listening to family history and oh how she enjoyed those moments with her dear aunt.

A great spiritual woman will be truly missed. Her final resting place will be at her home on Claremont Park Estates, St. Elizabeth Jamaica on January 12, 2020.
